With the aim of simplifying the process of delimiting a geo-referenced graphic representation (RGG), the project presented makes it possible to optimize the service methodology, communicate complex issues to ordinary citizens and innovate in the services provided to citizens through a virtual counter and simulator (https://www.gaiurb.pt/p/bupi).
The BUPi Simulator arose from an internal need on the part of the technical team, which wanted to make the interpretation of all the standard cases and the respective solutions for the same situation more visual, systematic and uniform.
As such, the new service form is based on the simulator's information flows, allowing for a new version that is more targeted and optimized for the promoter, avoiding subsequent email exchanges and directing to the necessary elements depending on the type of RGG registration process to be carried out. The virtual counter brings together all the information compiled from the simulator flow, as well as the presentation of the type of questions usually asked at the Gaia BUPi counter.
The recognition in the Innovation category reflects the focus on a quality public service, where we want to prioritize the experience of the citizen, in addition to the technological investment made and the characteristics of Gaiurb's human resources.
