Glowing and Krest announce Haya Towers

Glowing and Krest announced at SIL (the Lisbon Real Estate Fair) the launch of Haya Towers, a new real estate project in Vila Nova de Gaia that will be Portugal’s tallest residential building, standing 107 meters high. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2027 and be completed by 2030.

The development represents a total investment of 150 million euros and will feature approximately 40,000 m² of floor area. The two towers, with 30 and 31 floors, will house 361 apartments, ranging from studio to five-bedroom units, catering to a diverse audience.

The project stands out for its focus on services and common areas. With a total of 3,000 m² of amenities, residents will have access to a concierge, indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, gyms, coworking spaces, spa, pet spa, laundry facilities, and bicycle parking. The development also includes the Haya Sky Club, located on the rooftop, and the Haya Garden Club, featuring green spaces and family areas.

Conceived as a “vertical neighborhood,” the project aims to integrate housing, leisure, and wellness into a single urban ecosystem, drawing inspiration from the Living It Up philosophy.

Francisco Castanhas, CEO of Glowing, states, “With Haya Towers, we wanted to go beyond the traditional concept of housing, creating a truly integrated urban ecosystem. The 3,000 m² of amenities are the heart of this vision, providing a complete living experience where wellness, leisure, and community coexist naturally.” He also highlights the project’s convenient location: “We’re about 10 minutes from downtown Porto, with easy access to the beach, the metro, and public services. This project is part of the Gaia municipality’s high-rise development strategy, and we’re bringing that vision to life.”

Claude Kandiyoti, CEO of Krest, highlights the vision behind the investment: “Haya Towers embody our vision for the future of urban living. More than just a building, it is an investment that reflects our confidence in the dynamism of the Porto and Gaia region.”

He also emphasizes the importance of sustainability in the project, which is expected to meet stringent energy certification criteria, particularly regarding water management and environmental efficiency, with the goal of achieving LEED certification. “We want to create a responsible way of living, integrating green spaces and a strong cultural component—all Krest projects incorporate art and their own unique identity,” he notes.

Pre-sales are expected to begin in June, with the official sales launch scheduled for October. Prices are expected to range between 5,500 and 6,000 euros per m². Delivery of the first units is scheduled for within three years.
