The new logistics center, developed by Garcia under a Design & Build model, is currently undergoing the BREEAM Excellent certification process.
With a total area of 22,000 m², the building was designed to meet the current demands of the logistics and industrial sectors. Located in an established hub, it benefits from quick access to the main highways in the North—the A29, A1, A20, and A32.
Miguel Garcia, CEO of Garcia Garcia, states: “Our expertise, developed and proven over the years in the industrial and logistics sectors, has once again earned the trust of Logicor, which selected us as a partner to bring this project to fruition. The new building meets the highest standards of construction, innovation, and technical quality, and places a strong emphasis on sustainability and operational efficiency.”
The space consists of four interconnected units that can operate independently or as an integrated whole, adapting to different needs. It also includes 2,175 m² of administrative areas, 16 loading docks, 11.5-meter-high ceilings, high-precision industrial flooring (FM2), and a sprinkler system compliant with NFPA standards.
Sustainability is one of the cornerstones of the project, which utilizes materials from suppliers certified to ISO 14001 and with Environmental Product Declarations. The construction employed modular solutions, and the building is equipped with a 138 kW photovoltaic system.
Technologically, it incorporates a centralized technical management system that allows for the monitoring and optimization of the entire infrastructure’s operation.
