Primark will open four new stores in Portugal by the summer of 2027, as part of an investment exceeding 45 million euros. In Vila Nova de Gaia, the store will open at GaiaShopping.

Âncora Investments and PMA have formed a partnership for two real estate projects. The developments, located in the Porto metropolitan area, will result in approximately 650 units aimed at the mid-range residential market.

Haya Towers, located in Vila Nova de Gaia in the Porto Metropolitan Area, represent an investment of 150 million euros and are currently the tallest residential project in Portugal.

The plan includes improvements to VL1, VL3, VL10, VL11, and the connection between Jorge Sampaio Stadium and Nó dos Carvalhos.

New features allow users to track cases more clearly, identify stakeholders, and access opinions and decisions.

Three projects are under consideration: the Bustes development, consisting of three 12-story towers; the Quinta do Paço development, which will include 73 housing units; and the preparation of the Detailed Plan for Pedreira da Madalena.

Data from the Gaia Real Estate Observatory show that the municipality is creating new residential housing at a rate that is double both the national average and that of the Greater Porto region, with 3.3 and 3.7 housing units licensed per 1,000 inhabitants, respectively.
